Community guidelines
Safe communication, reports and appeals.
The rules apply to communities, direct messages, voice rooms, profiles and posts. Community owners may establish additional rules within their powers.
Revision dated October 11, 2026 · version 2026-10-11.1
Sniketor is a place to communicate and play together. These rules apply to communities, direct messages, text and voice channels, streams, profiles, names, avatars, links and files. Closed communities and private channels are not exempt.
This document is the Sniketor user agreement. By accepting it, you agree to the rules on communication and bots (sections 1–6) and to the terms of use of the service (section 7).
Age and account deletion
Sniketor is intended for users aged 18 and over. By registering and accepting this revision, users confirm that they have reached this age. If a minor's account is identified, access is restricted; for data deletion enquiries, contact moderator@qwgames.ru. To delete your account, use the security settings or the account deletion page. Account deletion removes entire direct conversations for both participants, including the other person's messages and attachments; other users' messages in shared channels remain. Uninstalling the application does not delete the account.
1. Communication and safety
- Threats, extortion, stalking, targeted harassment, incitement to violence and attacks against people or communities, and degrading people based on nationality, religion or other personal characteristics are prohibited.
- Do not publish other people's addresses, phone numbers, documents, passwords, conversations or other personal information without a lawful basis. Do not collect such information for harassment or fraud.
- Do not impersonate administrators, another person or an organisation to deceive others. Do not ask users for passwords, sign-in codes or payment details.
- Spam, mass unsolicited invitations and mentions, raids, manipulation of reports and deliberately overloading the service are prohibited. Do not bypass restrictions using other accounts or automation.
- In voice rooms, do not deliberately disrupt conversations with loud sounds, repeated joining, streams or bots. If people in the room ask you to turn off a bot's music, turn it off (for example, with the /stop command). Obtain participants' consent before recording or publishing their conversation or image. Do not broadcast other people's personal data.
2. Content, links and attachments
- Illegal materials, terrorist propaganda, incitement to unlawful acts and offers of illegal goods or services are prohibited.
- Child sexual exploitation, involving minors in sexual activities and any related materials are prohibited. Pornography is also prohibited by Sniketor's rules. Public images of nudity are prohibited.
- Do not post material intended to shock or intimidate, such as scenes of actual brutal killings, torture or abuse. Public images of real violence are prohibited, including outside a news context. This prohibition does not cover ordinary gameplay scenes.
- Malicious files, phishing, fraudulent links and attempts to bypass checks by renaming, packaging or disguising attachments are prohibited.
- Only post material you have the right to share. Do not distribute other people's works, software or broadcasts in violation of their owners' rights.
- This also applies to music in voice rooms. Use bots to play your own recordings, freely licensed music or radio stations that allow rebroadcasting. Do not use bots that take music from YouTube, VK Music, Spotify or other services whose terms prohibit it.
Allowed file formats and sizes are displayed in the interface. The service may reject attachments, restrict formats and re-encode images. Technical checks do not guarantee file safety or confirm that its content is allowed. Do not open suspicious links or files; report them.
3. Community owners and moderators
Owners may establish additional community rules that do not override Sniketor's rules. Make them available to members, respond to violations and grant moderation permissions only to people you trust. Delegated permissions do not authorise harassment, extortion or arbitrary interference with other people's accounts.
Bots can be added to a community by the owner or a member with the “Manage roles” permission, and to a single channel also by anyone who can edit that channel. Whoever adds a bot is responsible for choosing it and can remove it at any time.
- Mute for me — stops you from hearing a participant on your side only; it is not a penalty or a ban.
- Disconnect from voice room — ends the participant's current voice session. If they retain access to the room, they may rejoin.
- Remove from community — removes a member from the community. They may return using a valid invitation unless banned.
- Ban from community — prevents returning to that community until the ban is lifted.
These actions are available to the owner and members with the appropriate permissions, subject to role hierarchy. The creator of a voice room may disconnect its participants except the community owner; creating a room does not itself grant permission to remove or ban people across the community. Other members cannot apply these actions to the community owner.
A community moderator is not a Sniketor administrator. A ban in one community does not mean an account ban across the platform.
4. Reporting violations
To report a message or attachment, open the message menu → “Report”. For a profile or avatar, open the profile → “Report profile / avatar”. For a community or the current channel, open community settings and choose the relevant reporting option. Reports go to Sniketor administrators. Bots are reported in the same way as profiles; include the bot's @name.
Harm to children. Report child sexual exploitation material or a threat to a child immediately: through an in-app report and by email to moderator@qwgames.ru with the subject “Child safety”. Do not forward, download or save such material — a link, username or description is enough. These reports are handled first.
For a violation in voice chat or a stream, use “Support and reports”: provide the community, room, usernames, date, time and time zone, then describe what happened. Do not resend prohibited materials. If there is an immediate threat to life, contact emergency services; Sniketor support is not a substitute for them.
If you cannot access your account, write to moderator@qwgames.ru. Include a link or object identifier if known. For a copyright report, identify the material, the rights you hold and how to contact you.
A report records the reporter, author, object, text or description at the time of submission, reason and date. Reports about profiles, channels and communities also retain a copy of the avatar. Your entire private conversation is not attached automatically. Authorised administrators handling the report can access this information. Do not include unnecessary personal data, passwords or codes.
5. Decisions and appeals
Sniketor administrators review reports and may remove messages, attachments or avatars that violate the rules, or ban an account. Severity, context and repetition are considered when selecting a measure; serious violations may lead to a ban without prior warning. The number of reports alone does not prove a violation. A mistaken report made in good faith is not treated as abuse.
Usually, for a first violation the material is removed and the author receives a warning; repeated violations lead to an account ban. Threats, fraud, harm to children, hacking and other serious violations lead to an immediate ban. A community may be removed if it was created or is mainly used for violations.
Decisions and reasons are recorded in the action log. The reporter can see the result in “My reports”. Round-the-clock review and a specific response time are not guaranteed.
If you disagree with a community moderator's decision, first contact the community owner. If the moderator's actions violate Sniketor's rules or the owner cannot be reached, contact platform support. Reinstatement in someone else's community is not guaranteed.
To appeal a decision by Sniketor administrators, use “Support and reports” or moderator@qwgames.ru. Include your username, report number or a description of the decision, its date and your reasons for disagreeing. You may provide new information. Do not create accounts to evade a ban or submit the same request repeatedly in bulk.
6. Bots
Bots are programs that third-party developers create via @botfather and run on their own machines, connecting to Sniketor through the Bot API. Official Sniketor bots are marked with a blue check mark. Administrators review other bots before they appear in the catalog, but do not control them and are not responsible for how they work.
For users
- A bot receives what you send it in direct messages, and in channels only commands (/…), mentions of the bot and replies to its messages. A bot in a voice room technically receives participants' audio, like any other participant. Official Sniketor bots do not record audio; third-party bots must not record conversations without participants' consent.
- Never give bots your password, login codes or payment details. Bots that ask for them break the rules — report them.
For bot developers
- The developer is fully responsible for their bot: its code, replies and buttons, everything the bot posts, sends or plays (text, files, links, music), the processing of data it receives, and compliance with the law and other people's rights. Administrator review and a place in the catalog do not mean that Sniketor endorses the bot's content or is responsible for it. If claims are brought against the operator because of your bot, you agree to settle them at your own expense and compensate the operator for resulting losses to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Keep your bot's key (token) secret: you are responsible for actions taken with your key. If the key may have been exposed, issue a new one in @botfather immediately.
- A new bot works only with its creator until administrators approve it. The bot's name, description and commands must honestly explain what it does.
- Prohibited: spam and unsolicited mass messages; phishing and collecting passwords; collecting, selling or sharing users' data without their knowledge; impersonating Sniketor, its administrators or another service; circumventing Bot API limits; recording voice rooms without participants' consent; rebroadcasting music and other material without the rights to do so.
- Collect only the data your bot needs, delete it on a user's request and state in the bot's description if it stores anything. You process data received by your bot on your own behalf and are responsible for complying with applicable law.
- Administrators may rate-limit, reject or ban a bot, revoke its key and remove it from communities if it breaks the rules or endangers users. @botfather will notify you of the decision; you can appeal through support.
- The Bot API is provided free of charge and as is; its methods may change. See the developer page.
8. Revisions and acceptance of the rules
Changes in revision 2026-10-11.1: section 7 now covers the paid Sniketor+ subscription — under a separate offer, with one-time payment and no automatic charges. The rules on communication and bots have not changed.
Section 7, “Terms of use of the service”, is published on the Terms of use page.
Acceptance records the account identifier, rules version and date. A new revision requires separate acceptance. If you disagree, do not accept the rules and stop using the service; you can contact support by email. These rules do not override applicable law or the administrators' obligations.
